I am after some assistance to build the 1/48 Hasegawa BF109E-1 kit. The kit is the E-3 with resin plugs to fill the underwing canon bulges so they can be removed. Now I was reading a couple of build articles on this kit and they advised that the E-1 should have access panels for the MG17s ... TimTam27 from Drader:

Is that a painted-out insignia of some sort on the back of the TKS in the first photo?

I don't know anything about the TKS or Polish markings but do you think it might be where an on-vehicle tool ( an axe maybe) used to be attached?

You are part right part it is or was Aussie But it was originaly build a bit closer to meldourne than that.

Get some stiff clear plastic sheet ( such as from packaging or overhead transparencies) and tape it firmly to the edge of the base to form a wall where you want the puddle. Make it as tight as possible so there's minimal leaks.
