Minisoldiers: New to You?

Is the brand Minisoldiers new to you? It certainly is new to me. I confess to knowing little of this brand other than that Minisoldiers are a Russian manufacturer which is currently retailed through Dmitri Baev’s Soga Miniatures. At time of writing the range of 1/35 scale resin figures features subjects such as British Motorized Infantry in Iraq (1991) and US Airborne troops of WW2.

Good question is: why does British soldier carry M16A2 rifle?...

As Far as I know the only soldiers you would see carrying M16's would be Royal Marine commando's, or SAS/SBS. The figures look nice otherwise,but its a shame they are wearing NBC suits (same as DML's old desert rat figures) this does limit there use to other theatres some what.

Finally a figure of a paratrooper to use. Why hasn't any other manufacturer done this before? I would love to see one mid flight. building the parachute would be easy, plus you could literally "play" with your figure by dropping it from the roof of your house.
