120mm
Charge! Confederate Infantry

by: Nathan Phelps [ PORKCHOP ]

Looks like a pretty straightforward figure of a Confederate solider making a charge. The usual crisp molds are found on this kit. Pants and jacket have the seams molded in, though it appears there are no seams on the sleeves.

Facial detials are nicely done. All of the equipment is molded seperately and includes what you would expect-- scabboard, cartridge box etc.

The jacket is molded as two pices, it'll be interesting to see how the fit is in this area. The only other possible problem area I can see is a major pour block running the length of one of the legs. But a little sand paper, care and time should fix that issue.

A simple "dirt" base is also provided, I will be building my own.

I bought two of these guys with the intention of doing one the way it should look and another carrying an AK-47 and other modern arms as something a little bit different (Thanks Harry Turtledove!!). I'm not sure which version I'll build first....
