Hello guys . This is my latest work finished. An old piece by Laruccia - Soldiers that was asked by the commissioner to be converted and look like the pose of Pegaso 75mm Roman. I was also asked by the client to give a combat look and not the factory clean one !  Figure is painted with acrylics and oils and few printers inks for the metals . Base is totally scratched to show off the pose  I just hope you will like it , despite the fact that i have a problem at my camera and pictures are not so good . Great work on this roman soldier!
Excellent metals (are they polished or painted) and reds.

Dear Marcel metals are highly polished treated with cassel earth, ivory black and burnt umber oils , and a bit of silver printers ink for highlights .
Thanks for compliments my friend , i really enjoy contrast (especially since i missed it on my very early pieces) and regarding groundwork...well you know its my soft spot !!!

Another masterpiece, seeing your figures is like looking through an Art Museum catalog. Always have had a preference for the Greek and Roman figures, and you truly bring them to life. You've done a superb job depicting a battle-harden Legionnaire, a true 'Marius' Mule'. And then there's always the additional treat of your trademark bases, works of art in their own right.
