Hi Lee and welcome to Armorama. I'm sorry nobody has been able to answer your question but if nobody knows, you sometimes draw a blank.
Perhaps if it was asked,
"What is the best Humbrol match for British Gulf War armor sand?"

I know that Model Master makes a specific paint for this color - can anyone help Lee out?

Hello Lee and Tom:
I had read in a thread, I cannot remember when that by mixing Tamiya paints 85% Desert Yellow (XF-59) and 15% White (XF-2) produces a pretty close match. Hope it helps.

Hi, i dont know about humbrol but i find that Vallejo Sand Yellow (70916) and Vallejo Dark Sand (70847) mixed together works very well, as i have used it on my AA Landrover. However you will need to put a wash of Vallejo German Camo Black Brown (70822) over it to take out the brightness.

This combo works well. Hope it helps
