Does anyone have any references or (preferably) pictures of Renault R35s in Polish service in 1939? I have the Heller 1/35 kit and would like to do a Polish version.

Thanks!

Michael

Did Poland have R35's in Poland (1939)? I found a reference to the Poles using them in France (1940). It did not mention any foreign (non Polish) tanks in 1939.

Before 2nd WW we bought in France 100 of R35. But we received only half of them in July, 1939. They were used by 21st Light Tank Batallion near Romanian border (against Germans) and 12th Panzer Batallion near Krasne (agaist Ukrainians and Soviets).

Yep, they appear to have gotten about 50 of them in time to have them in action in '39, according to Zaloga and Williamson.
