  • move
MISSION: Sunset Ridge: Wild West Campaign
CAMPAIGN LEADER: 611_sqd
START DATE: October 1st, 2011
COMPLETION DATE: June 30th, 2012

The plains of Kansas, the braves of the Native Americans all the way to the heroes of the silver screen, you have to ask yourself do you feel lucky? No wait wrong movie...the build had it all. Some great painting all round and even some scratch building. The success for the build goes to the participants who took the time to take part, and a big thanks to the staff for hosting it for us.

Six Historicus Forma members successfully completed the campaign:
Aaron Newlands - 611_sqd
Al LaFleche - AJLaFleche
Andrzej Snigorski - endrju007
John Hale - Big-John
Nicolas - nico37
Randy Harvey - HARV

Here we present their work.

Ha! Thanks for all the work you are doing for HF campaigns mate. It is always great seeing all the nice figures completed for the campaign under one of your features. Mario

That's really no problem mate! I'm only happy you like it. I always thought that so many works made by different people with different talents simply deserve some feature to keep these pictures from disappearing from the site.

I was really happy with how it all turned out. Sometimes with campaigns (all over the net) when something is done you find a lot of the same stuff. A Korean War plane build I was in before was made up of Mig-15's and Sabers. A Battle of Britain one Spits and 109's. I get why, but it was really cool to see a big variety in subject matter for this one. It made not just running it, but following it a very enjoyable experience.

Thank you for the campaign Aaron. Or as my ancestors would say......Pilamayaye. It was a nice subject idea and I enjoyed watching all of the other entries as they were being built. Maybe another down the road?? Thanks, Randy

Yes, it is fascinating to see the variety of work that shows across the Campaigns. I love to see the various approaches and the pace of growth as the Campaign unfolds, and everyone shares their work. There is great and inspirational work right here in this West Campaign. Thank-you to everyone involved. Please keep up your practice, and please keep sharing here on Historicus Forma.

Harv I'd be willing to another one. We have a couple of other ones coming up but we can look after those.

Nice job onthe portfolio and the campaign as a whole. Good to see this kind of planning and follow through.

That would be fine. The further the better I would imagine...I am in four campaigns right now and I stay very busy with my reviews. So no hurry on my part at all. Thank you, Randy
