Hi all,

Many of you may have noticed that our friend and sculpting guru Markus Eckmann has been rather quiet of late. If you, like me, thought it was because Markus was enjoying summer holidays soaking up the sun on a tropical beach somewhere sipping cocktails, you would be sadly mistaken.

Markus PM'ed me yesterday to let me know that he has been "man down" the last 3 weeks or so. While walking his dog in the forest 3 weeks ago, he tripped quite badly over tree roots which had been exposed due to the wet ground. The result is that he has done himself a serious injury to his back, and is not able to spend much more than 3 hours a day seated.

Now, to be honest I'm not sure if Markus wanted this publically known, but we're all family here I'm sure he'd appreciate your best wishes and thoughts.

Get well soon, Markus, we'll all still be here when you return to normal life

Sorry to hear that,
Hopefully recovery will be soon.
As I went a^s over heals during the winter on the ice, I know the pain, and not being able to sit, stand and walk very well for very long, and was out of work for 3 months.

Get well soon Markus.

Back injuries are the worst as it affects everything that you have to do from breathing to sitting.
My thoughts are with you in hopes of a full and speedy recovery.

Cheers,
Charles

Hello Friends,

thank you all very very much for your good wishes.

I´m not recovered compleatly, but I started working again. So I will work here abboard again, too.

But please forgive me, when I´m sometimes not as active as I want it to be.

Again, I´m not recovered compleatly....

Take care,
Markus
