G'day all,

This is just a brief FYI: as of the end of February 2010 I'll be stepping down from the Kitmaker Staff in all capacities due to personal reasons which I'd prefer not to discuss at this present moment.

The more astute amongst you will have noticed that I've already ceased any discussion group hosting activities on HF and Armorama. As of February 28th I'll cease all editorial activities.

I will still, however, be reviewing figures - so don't worry, you'll still be getting objective, unbiased, technical figure reviews from me

My 5 odd years on the staff, first as a News Writer on the old Armorama site, then HF ME, and finally KMN CE, has been a wonderful experience, and my only regret is that I cannot stay longer. There are too many people to thank for making the experiences and opportunities what they were, so forgive me for not mentioning you all. Two people I cannot go without mentioning though are Jim Starkweather and Engin Kayral. Thank you both, you've both been great friends, colleagues, brothers.

Catch you on the flipside

Rudi

Dear Brother,
It is impossible for me to think Kitmaker without You or You without Kitmaker so I believe you will always be a part of this community in some way. So relax and enjoy the incoming events and hard / happy days
You know we both will be supporting each other in our limits. I know where to find you and you know the same.
My best regards to all family.

As Engin says it is hard to think Kitmaker.net without you Rudi.
Thanks for your time here and especially thanks for your friendship, which I hope we'll enjoy in the rest of our life.

I had a similar situation in the past months in which I couldn't involve to the hobby. But the man can get used with every situation and I'm sure you'll be able to get back here soon as I did.

All the best to you and your family my friend.

G'day lads,

Thanks for your well wishes. Of course without folks like you this community (HF) wouldn't have the close family feel it has.

I'll still be around the forums and contributing when I can, so don't worry I'm not (entirely) riding off into the sunset

You're presence here will be missed.
But I promise to annoy you insensately with my usual wild and wacky emails.

Thanks Dave, and you can expect the emails of Barcelonian 'attractions' to continue

As everyone can now see, I'm officially demobbed. I now know of Lucius Vorenus (the semi-fictional character, not the historical one) felt.

Hey Rudi, whatever the personal issues are; I hope they get resolved soon. You really helped to pull the Big-A and HF together for many of us old hands and have been regarded as a friend, not just an online contact.

Good luck and best wishes

rudi,
Like others have said, it's hard to imagine HF without you at the helm.
Best of luck and I hope things soon settle out for the best.

Hey, Rudi, just wanted to say thanks for all the help & advice over the five years I've been a member here. I can very easily say that you were the most easy-going and friendly members of the Kitmaker staff I've interacted with. Cheers
