well I've been working on this guy for about 3 half weeks...

from start to finish. I'm happy with the turn out... got a couple more of him in the stash... will fiddle with them another time, but thought I'd show this ole chap.

That's some ugly bugger Great painting... he looks all drippy and rotting...
One thing: shouldn’t bone parts be a little more... wet?

Great work! Really scary!

The colors are amazing, the rotting stuff looks like gangrene and I love the saliva dripping from his mouth... I do agree with Andrzej though, perhaps a bit of gloss to the bone structures?

I wouldn't want this one to stare at me from a glass cabinet at night.

I did go back an add alil tamiya clear to the bone areas, and it gave them a wet look, but not to wet... I'll post the reshot photos soon as I get him unpacked.

Over all though I'm happy with him I've got a couple more of him in the stash that will get different skin tones and a few other add-on's, but for a later time though.

Thank you for the kind words Endrju and Maki I really appreicate them ALOT...

Chris, we are looking forward to seeing new pics... What kind of different skin tones did you have in mind for the other pieces? Grayish, greenish perhaps?

ok so here ya go.. with alil more wet bone...

as for the colors.. yeah a greenish grey... maybe even a go at the ole Black&White style... never done that before... and would be a neat challenge for sure, but probly a greenish hue to Nesters twin brother lol Oh and I've also been told by a gal from another forum that I need to add a pink bow... so I've gotta come up with something for that as well... what is it with women and pink bows on a zombie ???

maybe a pink bowtie... LOL

anyways here ya go guys.

Chris

This one is alil dark but it shows up the top of the open skull pretty nice I thought.

if ya look up whitehorse03 on photobucket you'll find all the photos from this build there.

Disgusting!
The wet-ish bone looks good and I like the extra "meat" addition on the plinth...

B/W should look great, but I think very hard to do convincingly...

As for the pink bow... it is a must!

Man, he is nasty… Absolutely awful! I love him
What is that on the stand? Is it a liver? Idea of nailing it to the stand is great.
As for a pink bow… I agree with Mario: go for it!
I’ve looked at this guy long enough… I’m going to throw up

Thank you for the kind words KoSprueOne , I appreciate that alot.

Well alil update, So far everyone I've delt with is out of Nester so I've contacted GEOM about when there will be more Nesters out so I can start on the next 2... so far no word back... lol....

but other figures are on the bench in clean up stage..
Currently I have

1/6th Vampirella w/ base, got her from E2046, good clean figure.
1/4th Countess Karenstein w/ base
1/6th Countess Karenstein laying on Coffin
1/6th Saqqara w/ base
The 3 above are from SolarWinds, Great castings, but they do take alot of work to clean up. So far I'm very pleased with these figures.

I'll start a WIP on each onces I've gotten really started.
