Something not clear from these rules is the date range around which the figure may be started and finished. Must the figure be started and finished within the contest period? Only finished? I know we work on a trust basis anyway, but it's best to make these things clear.
And then another suggestion: why not set up a contest mailbox accessible to all staff (like the [email protected] and [email protected] addresses)? As opposed to mailing directly to one staff member? This ensures that should that single point of contact fail (e.g. goes on vacation, gets ill or leaves the staff, etc) that other staff can still access the entries and keep the contest going.
Just my $0.02... use it, don't use it....
Rudi
p.s. well done on getting the new contest set up - good luck guys! Sounds exciting!

I'll ask Staff_Jim if we could set up such mailbox.
Thank you for your comments.

It is great to have a figure contest again at HFM. Thanks Marcin for organizing it, you've done a big work and I hope the contest would prove very popular among figure modelers... the prizes look great!

It's too bad more people haven't entered. But there's still time! Come on everyone, lets see what you've done recently!

This might be a stupid question, but where is the figure contest thread? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Maybe it's in front of my face and I can't see it.
Thanks in advance.

Currently there is no open official thread. As soon as I get the list of prizes from Adalbertus (which should happen soon) I will announce new contest and start a new thread which will be sticked on top of the topic list.

Hello,
I have a piece I'm finishing and will be happy to submit it to the competition.
Marcin, when you say that the topic hread will stick on top of the topic list, that means that within the forum topics of HF, the topic with the rules and where to enter pieces will never go down in the topic list ?
If ys, that's a great initiative !
Best,
Julien
