Hi all, I have been thinking about making a figure of Ghost, from the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 video game (see below):



Since I am not going for total video game accuracy and most of his gear is post Cold Era modern stuff I was thinking about using one of the PMC figures from Verlinden as a base:

But I would have to re scuplt the head, the communication gear and all the MOLLE gear. Seems like too much.

Then I came across this bust and I was thinking, it just really needs a new head:

But no pants = no multicam, which may actually be a blessing in disguise. Anyway, just wondering what you guys would recommend as head replacement. I could not find any 1/9 heads online, so I can just sculpt the glasses, the comm gear and the balaclava.

I must admit I don't really like the Verlinden figure and I'm glad you decided to go with SpecialOps offering as this bust is awesome. I'm shooting you a PM regarding this bust.

Thanks for the PM Mario. I am still looking for a bare head to use, I actually saw some on the Verlinden website and will probably go with that, since I don't really need a good sculpt If you have other recommendations please let me know. Thanks.

Verlinden heads in 120mm? I got a set as I was planning on converting a Verlinden figure... and it turned out the scales don't match; the Verlinden figure was too big for the Verlinden replacement head set. Go figure...

Miniature Alliance makes a set or two of replacement heads in 120mm, but those are difficult to find.

If you go with the 1/9 bust, I wouldn't replace the head as it is wonderfully sculpted.
