Hallo Friends,

here comes a short article about the 4th workshop in Roßhaupten - that is in the hard south of Bavaria (just a few minutes to Castle Neuschwanstein).

At this workshop we used a little bust for our common painting project. I sculpted the bust at the last workshop and at the actual workshop I was a part of the painting group.

For me as a sculptor in general that was really funny and I`m proud to say that I was able to learn a lot. I painted with acrylics for the first time and was very happy about the result (normally I paint with Humbrols and oils).

I have to thank Carsten Abel and Michi Seitz for the lessons in painting Acrylics to the participants. As some of the german Grandmasters they shared all their secrets !!!

I also want to thank all the participants for coming to the workshop and the success we archieved.

I think it is time to enjoy some pics and I hope such a review is interesting for you...

The workshop was held in the Museum of Roßhaupten - as always.

Here comes an overview about the works of the participants:

Here are two pics of the basic bust called "The Figure Enthusiast":

Now the results :

Here are some pics of works beside the painting course.

First a conversion of a Kellerkind Figure, wich was created by A. Strassmeir and Martin Hille. I´m really courious to see it painted.

Then some pics of the base my friend Chris was working on. It the base for two figures out of the Fantasy world. The taller figure is a conversion and the smaller one is a scratch.

I hope you like this little review and I´m really looking forward to the next workshop - end of May next year.
