Ola people

I have actually also posted this on the figure section of Armorama and decided to post it here as well to get some feedback from the figure buffs here. If this is not way to do this then by all means mods delete this topic.

I want to share with you guys and gals my latest work.

Finished it last week. Fieldmarshall Rommel standing on top of a dune at the Atlantik Wall somewhere in May 1944 wondering when and where the invasion will land.

Looking forward to your feedback

With a friendly greet

Great presentation Robert: Amazing how one figure can speak volumes.

Very nice vignette.
I do like the figure but (once again, Robert) the base is a masterpiece by its own. Barbed wire is a great touch.

Ola Guys

Thanks for the replies

@ Anthony
Yeah absolutely true. Of all the resin figures I have bought this is one of the best. And the likeness with his 1:1 counterpart is pretty much spot on.. Which makes painting it in a convincing way even harder. Funny though it is actually sculpted after the picture of his Africa Campaign but I found this scene much more fitting.

@ Andrzej
Thanks for your compliments. It was my intention to make the base as a complementary addition to the scene on top of it. Never could have guessed it would become that popular.

@ Scott
Thanks for the compliments as well. I like simple. It is one of the hardest things to do correct.
