hi guys, please could someone help me out here. i have painted the face and i am quite used to painting face, but i have never painted the mouth/lips of the figure. this is all in 1/35 and i have a tank commander speaking and it doesn't look right at the moment without a mouth/ lips painted. so what i am really asking is what colour paint should be used for it and any other help would be much appreciated.
thanks a bunch, stan

For lips I use usualy brown rose mixed with flat flesh (both from vallejo). I don't have exact ratio, just them mix them by eye. It depends how generally face looks and how I want it to look.

I use Testor's Light Tan for the lips. After that has dried, I apply a very thin line of brown water-color to the mouth. You won't need much; just a drop or less. Turns out quite realistic.
