hi I would like to know what is this Tempera paints I keep hearing on the web? Can we get them here in the us?

Tempera paints are the same paints used by schoolchildren (at least when I went to school in the 50s) for fingerpainting...Pelikan used to make 'em - I had two large jars many years ago...try a GOOD art store - by GOOD I mean a store dedicated exclusively to art supplies, such as Pearl Paint...You can find Pearl by Googling...Pearl used to be my Mecca...depending on where you live there should be an art store within reasonable distance of your home..
