@ Sam - very nice! Pale skin looks great on this figure.

@ Todd - sorry to hear about the accident. Fortunately it happened in the early stage of production (imagine dropping finnished figure...)

@ Alex - good to see you with us! I hope to see your work soon.

A, LOL..I should have taken a picture of it in pieces on the floor, always one of those "cringe" thoughts!

A bit closer today....

Base is in the weathering stages. Plenty of layers on layers, just showing a few here.

Some toning of some of the stones and maybe a light dry-brush and this is almost ready!

This looks funky like I messed with the pic..LOL...just the highlights heading to what I want I suppose. There is actually 4 lights on this.

A few steps omitted here, but this is how she stood last night. Since then I placed a light wash and will start with some oils soon!

Thanks for hanging out!!

I started this puppy for the first fantasy build, but I couldn't work out what to do with her. It sat there for a while. I reprimed it for this campaign and got to work

Greetings Ladies and gents!

I decided I need a break from reviews and other things and actually work on some models, and earn another ribbon.

Here are my entries. They may not be an involved kit but they get me modeling at least; maybe before February I'll do a more complex model, too. I have some Aurora figures around here... . These are:

- 1/48 resin figures of an unknown manufacturer for the board game Clue; I had no idea what they were of until playing Clue for the first time a few months ago.

- O scale Prieser figure.

- HO Gandy Dancer metal 1880's women.

Last night I started working on them.

More progress. I have shading touch-up to do. I tried to shade the yellow with violet but I'm going back to orange. The dowager's dress is meant to look like silk, simulated with thin glazes of copper.

Miss "Scarlet"

The Dowager

Soup anyone?

Preiser girl

"Girls' Night Out"

HO Woman

The other HO figurette is in a violet dress.

Great work, Fred. Especially considering the scale.

I have finished my GW WH40k figures. The sister repentia. Great little figures with nice detail is the well known GW quality.

I hope to post better pictures soon as I get a better camera.
