Hi
I've some 1/35 figure's that I want to paint as 1950's USAF & need to know if there's a Vallejo Blue that would be good for the Uniform colour.
Thanks

Are you talking dress or work? Work are the same as the Army,OD,with AF markings.
Dress is a blue/gray shade much lighter than the current shade. I suggest you find a color pics from the time frame and custom mix your color to match.

BTW the enlisted dress uniform was a short blouse(jacket for you civilians)refered to by the troops as an 'Ike jacket',trousers(pants)and mostly an overseas cap,Universaly known as the 'c'cap. VFW members wear a similar style.
Wasn't aware of any AF figures in 1/35.....
Hope this helps,

Jake

Hi Jake
Dress uniform I'm doing, I've got some good ref pic's for the colour just hoping there was a colour near enough without mixing ( colour blindness makes problems for Me )with shades etc.
As for the figure's I'm converting those from MB the US navy waves set & the Europe 1945 set with the civilian women in it.
Making a Korean War R&R diorama.
