resin anime figs

Has anyone here bought any of the 1/6 - 1/8 scale resin anime figs from Thailand on eBay? These aren't mainstream casting companies, so I'm wondering what the quality is like. Much clean-up required? The painted examples look very good, but are they, really? And are the vendors trustworthy?

What? I can't believe it! No one's ever bought any sexy little Animé figs off eBay?

These are mostly re-casts of other peoples work. Quality can vary from not too bad (i.e. lots of pin holes and seams) to out right garbage. I bought one once, when I was first getting into something other than WWII figures and didn't really know about re-casters. Arms and legs didn't line up with the slots, the upper and lower body halves were WAY off. Now I only buy originals. Never had a problem and the owners are always willing to make it right.

That's what I thought - be prepared with plenty of putty and sandpaper
. I just hope the guy changes molds every now and again. I am interested in one of the Royo character figures. Reading the buyers' feedback and comments give an idea of the seller's reliability and quality of goods.
