OK fellas, this is one I am working on at the moment. Its an African child soldier, a shocking aspect of modern conflict! Based on the photo below...
[

]
I scratched an AK47 from plasticard
[

]
Sculpted a head from MS and greenstuff mixed...
[

]
worked up an armature from putty and wire
[

]
developed some more...
[

]
moved onto his legs...
[

]
Started on his arms...
[

]
More this weekend!

None Paul. I don't think its something anyone would buy!
I hope to paint it up nice and have the satisfaction of a one off piece...

You just never disappoint David.
Originality, of the moment,touching, a statement that challenges.
I hate to use the phrase but a worthy subject.
Well done, an inspired choice
Will you be able to finish it for club night next week?

Wow, what an amazing sculpt. I think this kind of figure would be interesting commercially... it is definitely something different.
Well done,

What a very original and unique figure! There are just so few figures representing Third World countries and conflicts. Excellent job!

You might try using PhotoBucket. It allows you to drag-drop images.

Thank you Paul- if I'm there, it'll be there along with all my other 2014 efforts. Problem is I"ve done so many of them! 11 so far so God knows how many I'll have done by then. I have a number semi complete too!

Thanks Paul- not had any calls yet, but I'm sitting by the phone! seriously I think you have to sculpt in a different way if you plan to sell, to be able to break down the main parts for casting. I have no experience of that.
