Thought I would share a photograph that was in my local newspaper, The Sheridan Press, today (3-21-15).

Tracy Allen, a street car conductor in 1916

When the electric trolleys were first introduced in Sheridan it was big news across the state. I imagine that anyone associated with them were looked at as some sort of celebrity back in the day.

Mr Allen looks quite proud. I bet his buttons were polished and there was not a speck of lint on his clothes.
