I willing be doing a British from the Tamiya set of Walking British Commonwealth but I do not know what colors also do have adjust the figure's webbing in anyway also is there any type of tool that can help me with the making of rifle slings at all.

PATIENCE....a straightedge, Ex-Acto knife & SHARP blades and a lead or metal wine bottle seal...in the old says we scrounged toothpaste tubes for the same materials. you could substitute masking tape or thin plastic sheeting for the slings also,,,as for sources go online or find any of the Osprey Men-at-Arms series which cover that subject...

because you are using acrylic i recommend
Battledress
Vallejo English uniform, shaded with raw Umber and Highlighted sparingly with a touch of Iraqi Sand.
assuming they are in N.W. Europe,
Equipment
mix 50/50 Iraqui sand and US field green and highlight Iraqui sand
boots
Black
Helmet shades of green Khaki and Sand for any garnish to the helmet, they were covered with a sandbag and a green netting under any foliage or rags>
