First try with acrylics (no oils this time). Base color for face and some work on eyes.

I was hoping you would push the shadows at the eye corners deeper.
That and the other small detail touches make a heck of a difference.

Hey Robert, this piece is coming along beautifully now.
I hope you are happy with the progress.
The tonal values of the clothing are spot on.
Once you get the small details done and some weathering this is gonna be VERY special.
