they are called louvered Vans here in Australia and yes each panel is like clapboard
yes that is a livestock Van used to carry 12 beasts 24ft long
These are resin kits but may as well be scratch built -very careful work and cleaning is required - each of the slats on the Livestock van had to be cleaned of large amount of flash
