Just started painting a Beneito 54mm figure and I have laid down the whites of his eyes but not sure what color to use for the iris?
I don't really like blue as it stands out too much.
What does everybody else use.

Hi Karl. for 1/35th after the white is done I just use black. A simple brush stroke usualy takes care of it. And there are time I just use a wash as at this scale they are very hard to difine. Hope this helps. bob d.

depend fron the scale a jump some step but this tutorial work pretti well,for the white part i mix with a drop of skin color or the pure white is to bright

i prefere do the white in acrilycs and then use oils becose if you made a mistake is easy to wipe with some thinner and brush and restart egain until you are satisfied

For 54mm figures I always use black.

in 1/35 me too i use black,from 54mm up colors

First you start with a black dot, then a color dot (of your choice for eye color) that almost, but not quite, covers the first black dot. Then another tiny black dot in the center for the iris. And another tiny white dot at around 10 o'clock, for highlight. After completing the figure varnish just the eye. Or you could use Archer's eye ball decals.
