I am trying out the NOCH Lake Film and also making what I intend to be a diorama/layout that can be modified to pose trains, planes, and armoredmobiles.

I used old track and glued it to cork. It is a length longer than needed for this small diorama yet will allow me to stage scenes better.

I painted the sea floor with nice blues as I do not want the water to appear murky. I thought about adding a 2nd coat but then thought that the wood grain looked like sand bars and shoals. I decided to see how it looked with the film atop it.


The lake film looks good but in spite of over a week of pressing or hanging it vertically, it never straightened out and ceased trying to re-roll back into a tube.

I used NOCH glue spray for the adhesive.
