I was looking at a few things on Craig's List and saw this for sale. I had never seen one before and did a little research and found out it was a mine latrine car. I thought it was interesting and wanted to share the pictures.









All I can imagine is that if you made the boss mad, you got to be the lucky guy who had to clean it out.

You're welcome Fred. I thought it was an interesting item. I guess that is something I never really thought about before......where the miners took care of business. After seeing this one I looked on-line and saw various other designs....some of them two-seaters. One of these would make a cool scratch-build project. Might have to add that to my after retirement projects list.

Haha, Great!

Not sure which would be the worst to use. The single seater where someone might be waiting their turn and standing there watching you......or the two seater which gives a different twist to the buddy system.
