You are making some very fine lemonade out of that lemon of a kit.

Sadly Trumpeter really dropped the ball on the kit. An impressiv deed given the number of complete (and sometimes functioning) BR52 and BR52.80 availabel

It starts to take color ... all black

I will give another hand of black, because, some places did not been cover, it so difficult to paint in only one hand...

Omar,

Your models are turning out beautiful. The track is great. Amazing your simulated leather.

I look forward to your next installment.

Good day
Thanks for the comments and advice, always add up, do not stop giving your opinion.
Now moving forward with the coal cart, the first stage. The idea is to complete it as if to give it a coat of red paint ...
Progress:

Just discovered this forum and this topic. Great build.
When you are ready to assemble the wheels i will suggest a good dryfit to check if all the wheels touch the rails.

Hello everyone!!!
Finally I gave it a touch more, it did not finish convincing me, as it had been, I think it took more realism, right?

Hi Omar.

Excellent progress! The sleepers and the tracks look great. My only suggestion would be to put some more work into the track ballast. It looks to uniform and fake. I think a bit of random colour and a good dose of black panel line wash to give it some depth would really make it pop.

Looking forward to more progress reports.

Cheers, D

Good
I followed the advice, it looks better, the progress:

Thanks for the feedback

A little preview ... it seems a bit like the progress, but it took time to paint the base with the tracks and try to give it realism, the photos

The leather looks very realistic.

I agree, great finish on the leather tones and sheen level.

This build is coming along beautifully.

Hi Ko
The technique is mixing an acrylic with a transparent semi gloss, nothing special. I used these products:

That looks amazing Omar, great detail painting!

Can you let us know how you did the wood effect on the floor, and which paints you are using? The red paint in particular is a very nice colour for the handles, wheels and levers.

Cheers, D

Hi Damian!
The colours, that I used were artistic acrilics, nothing special. I combine to colors, one is territorial beige, and the other is burnt umber, marks Eureka and Palmer.
The gloss red color is tamiya.
