Here is one I finished up about a month ago. Always wanted to do a water diorama as well as a dinosaur; this is the proverbial two birds with one stone!
Moderator; if this is in the wrong spot please move it to the proper corner of the Kitmaker world.

Rick,
Probably belongs on the “Model Geek” part of the site, but before it gets moved I wanted to complement you on a fabulous diorama. I’m always impressed at shows with the dinosaur exhibits— they are a niche unto themselves, and the artwork that goes into painting these models is incredible, yours is certainly in that category. Even though I’m not a “Dino modeler”, I always take time at shows to visit the table with Dinosaurs on display, gawk at the fine detail and expert painting skills that it takes to render skin, scales and claws, and especially the eyes of these models. They are incredibly realistic and really bring “Jurassic Park” to life. Nice job. Is it a Tamiya kit?

Thanks Russ!
The dinosaur is from Papo, molded in that hard plastic stuff (PVC) that Schleich animals are made of. They come painted but I primed over that and did my own markings (without any references, shocking!!). I'm like you, always checking them out at every pre-covid show I've ever attended and when I saw this one I thought, "why not?". It was a blast building the terrain and it probably won't be my last critter.

Cheers,
Rick

Brilliant work Rick, love the water effect and the overall diorama is very effective!

As an funny coincidence, I've just built an Me262 with the same 2-tone green colours! Prehistoric RLM scheme!

Cheers, D
