A strong man stands up for himself; A stronger man stands up for others.
Admit nothing. Deny everything. Make counter-accusations.

I can relate to how you did modelling in your younger years - for me, the excitement was in putting the kit together, not in doing a bunch of fine detailing. But then, it's the detailing that makes a model "pop"!
I'm 44 years old. I was born in Nebraska but have grown up in Texas pretty much my entire life (since I was 3). I built models as a kid growing up but never really put any effort into properly finishing a model. Mostly built and applied decals with no paint back then.
I did get into RC planes for a bit and still fly occasionally but I'm not currently a member of a club. My main passion is armor and military aircraft.
I haven't completed a model in over 25 years and recently decided to go all in. I pulled out a Tamiya M1A2 OIF Abrams kit I started over 10 years ago that has been setting it's it box, uncompleted and no paint. I've been working on it since August and have made quite a bit of headway. I'll think I'll have it finished in the next week or two.
There is a tremendous amount of talent here and I would like to say thank you to everyone who contributes and shares their knowledge. I've been a long time lurker off an on over the years as I love watching others progress, talent and the true beauty of the work completed here.
My recent push to go all in on modeling persuaded me to join the community and hopefully contribute where and when I can. I'm sure I'll be learning way more than I contribute.
