I know that this topic has been here before but I can't find it.

Which colors do Verlinden means in the Fleshparts Chapter? A B C D, and so on.
A) is somthing like brown. I used burnt sienna, and the color was totaly wrong.

Verlinden is know for the use of the colours :

- Burnt Sienna
- Raw Umber
- Yellow Ochre

The three mixed make the basic skin colour

it should look something like this colour...



Titanium White is the other colour to lighten things.

To give a face a particular look , he also uses Cadmium Red and Cadmium Yellow.
