Having the imagination and the technology to back it up I thought I would show everyone what I have in mind.
Taking a photo of the layout, unfinished of course, and drawing the landscape over it gives me an idea on where I want it to go.

Kinda hard to picture, huh? And after drawing...


You can see where I want to go a little easier.
I am just starting to use this technique to start my sceniking, I think it will help my assistants to visualize my ideas.

Great use of technol my dear friend -am a railroader too -do some work in on30 as it allows me to individualise my people while still keeping the layout not too big- at pressent 3600mm 1500mm or 12'x4'

And.. your kids will love it too

What's actually cool is that if you look at the "above" picture, you'll see a hole in the middle of the layout. This hole is covered by the mountain in the second picture.
Odd?
My plan is to COMPLETELY SUPER-DETAIL the INSIDE of the mountain.
The viewer will actually slide under the layout and put their head INTO the mountain to see the underground action.

What do you guys think of THAT?
