Here's some pics of an almost finished Andrea Miniatures 54mm Volgor The Skull Hunter. It's my first kit by Andrea and I am really impressed with the quality. It is painted in oils and enamels. I will have to let all the paint dry before completing the detail painting on the sword and shield, and dry brushing on the cape but I thought I'd post some pics.

Martin:

Very nice work, Martin. Thanks for posting these
pix before final painting, as you mentioned waiting
for paint to dry. . . that isn't an exercise like:

Watching Grass Grow, is it? :-) :-)

Jussssss kiddin, amigo. I really like this fig and
can see all the fun it would be to paint the hi-lites re the
musculature in tones of Green. As in the "Not So
Incredible Hulk visits Skull Island" . . . lookin' for
Kong. Stop it and get back to the point.

But the back of that cape is killer.
You will have lots of fun drybrushing
all the various tan and other colors that work well
with a sand or tan or whatever, that would enhance the
detail in the cape portion seen from the photo show-
ing the back of the fig.

Don't make fun of me, but I'm
thinking of a smidge of peach color in that part of
the cape and perhaps also some light green in the
cape to compliment the green flesh,
and oh my , all that flesh!!!! Looks like a lot of fun to
do.
