Hola!!

Long time no post! Im enjoying my holliday season in a cold and windy Sweden! Been working on some sculpting but no painting until I get back home.
Anyways, was looking at the Andrea website http://www.andrea-miniatures.com and saw that they are releasing a video (both english version and USA verison of tapes)and a multimedia CD ROM about painting figures in acrylics. Has anyone seen reviews etc of any of these items? I will more then likely buy the multimedia cd rom and when I receive it I will post a review of some sort. But for now Im looking for others viewpoints of these tutorials.

Happy New Year!

I thought you are producing a video on painting figures.. I guess I should read the topic title more carefully next time

Anyways I have seen the CD you are refering to, but haven't thought of getting it.. It would be great if you could tell us what you think of it when you buy the CD...

The CD ROM looks very intriguing. One place in US that has it available is Squadron.com for $35.97. They also have the VHS tape for $33.97. I think I will get the CD ROM first and then if necessary the VHS. Is it safe to assume that techniques they show would apply to any acrylic paints not just Andrea’s?

Marty, if you are in Poland (as your flag states) it would be probably better to look for the CD in Historex Agents website (they are Andrea distributors for Europe), or even directly at Andrea Miniatures..

And, yes, I'm quite sure it is not just on Andrea acrylics...

Maki,
Actually I live in the US. I use Polish flag because I am a Polak. I was born and raised in Poland and even after being exiled for all these years I still consider myself to be somewhat Polish.#:-) Thanks for looking out for me though

I have thought so... you speak excelent English and I must admit I was a bit confused with the Polish flag ...
Ever thought of returning? One of my friends, Croatian born, was raised in the US and now he has returned to work here.. Crazy man.. :-)

Mario, thank you for the comment about my English. As far as returning to Poland...at this point in time it is out of the question. My wife said she would divorce me if I ever decided to move back there for good. I do miss Poland from time to time but I mostly miss places and people. Many of the places are no longer there and most of the people have moved on with their lives. Anyhow, I never say never because who knows what life has in store.

My relatives moved to Canada a long, long time ago.. But they regularly visit Croatia and enjoy it here very much (although the children don't talk the language, they also come here and somehow think of Croatia as their second home).. Do you visit your family in Poland?
