Hello guys,

I present you one of my recent works. 30 mm Reaper miniature is painted with acrylic. I was really willing to paint this one; now I am not really happy with the result and to be honest I dont know why.

Greetings Umay:

As I look at your attention to detail in painting this
little 'bald' person, it is hard for me to remember that
this fig is only 30mm. Quite small. I think you're being
rather hard on yourself; IMO you've done a fine job. But
I also remember that I tend to see more clearly, the
things that are WRONG with my fig painting more so
than the things that go right.

Obviously, as well, you know something about
photography as the pix are very interesting. That piece
of graphic artwork under and behind the fig is really
killer, adds a lot of excitement to the presentation. Clever.

The only thing I could suggest, and this is such a
minor point to me, is to add a few more other tones of
"bone" color, such as ivory tones, tans and slight
hints of other warm colors to the skeletal pieces you've
painted white. Some tonal variation from the gray and
white, at the point of joints, etc.

But I really think your fig is fine as you've
presented it here. Good show, Umay!

Hi Oomi,

Excellent work! I agree with my friend Rick 100%. And excellent skin tones for 30mm!

What exactly don't you like about this?

Umay, you've painted this exactly when I missed for almost 3 months. But I found the the topic as you see.

As usual you've painted also this one very nice. Great colors, great shading and very nice pictures with that background. Congrats sister.

My dear sister,
The figure looks perfect and I echo what is said about the skin tones. They are great for a mini.
Best regards
