Actually I am looking for one for the Maori I have just done - needs to have the same look as Lord of the rings (as same type of scrub as the movie - both had same denseness and of couse both from Phils home planet of New Zealand) -want him amongst the thick bracken and flax plants and trees to give him the look that he has just spotted 'the enemy' for the rest of the column.

That will be good to see Fanai . What vegetation will you use my friend ? pleaseuse a new post in the forum if you like toshow us your progress and present the materials and the techniques you will use .

This could turn out to be a real interesting wee thread, when I get the chance to do ground work these days its enjoyed as much as sculpting,.. as I have stated other times it can become an art form and stand alone in its self,.. I call it a setting and the plinth the picture frame and the whole piece a presentation..

Yes its nice to share different ides and diffferent techniques for creating a presentetion field for the figure . Creativity can go sky high since youre a bit limited with the figure, as you already have the sculpted piece. Lets see...
