Costas, I'm happy for you that you catched this opportunity to visit the heart of miniatures. It is great that you could bring us the pictures and the story of these great men who feed us with their miniatures in our little hobby rooms. Thanks alot for sharing

PS: The link given at the last page of the article for the gallery doesn't work. I think it is for the staff members only..

Costas:

What a great article. You really make me miss my family's homeland! I bet you couldn't wait to get home from your visit and start painting like a mad man. The inspiration, and first-hand experience is worth so much to a serious painter like yourself.

I'm glad you had the opportunity to visit Pegaso, and am even happier that you shared it with us.

I would also like to say congratulations to Pegaso for maintaining their high standards in bringing us the quality figures.

Hi Costas!

Great article! Thanks for sharing!

I noticed there was very few pictures of work in progress and no pictures of the molds and the technique/materials they use to produce their figures. I suppose this is their secret... fair enough I guess!
We should have more articles like this. This is the real heart of our hobby!

A trully unique experience. Making historical figures in a medieval monastery, you just can't beat that.

Thanks guys ! I was hoping to get some enthusiastic responses as these ones . It was a great experience and i hope u have the same fun as i had !!!

Dear Jean Luc Pegaso didnt put me any restrictions to secret areas of their work . but the time was limited and there is not only one place that everything is happening. So i could not do it all !!!! I hope the next time iwill have some more details !!!!!

Dumbfounded I am!!!

That was a truly incredible article-well written and obviously great subject matter!!

I don't know who I am more jealous of-you for being invited to go there (and go) or the guys at Pegaso who work in heaven - Italy is such a beautiful country on it's on-working in a monastery can only add to that!

Now I know why Maurizio is always in such a good mood and can produce so many fantastic figures!! I've been trying to get him to go on vacation so I could get a break from spending my money - now I know his work is his vacation!!

Thanks for the article Costas!!

Hi Lou andthanks for your comments .

Most Lucky are the guys that work there!! Believe me . They are doing what they like in a heavens place. Maurizio is living in Catania ,and i just hadthe luck to get him there , after Saint Vincent Expo . But he is visiting Siena now and then anyway . The rest of theguys like Luca and Pietro and Andrea ,, live and work there at the Eremo . Which is undoubtfully a great place. I would definately go and live there easily !!! Especially working for Pegaso !!!!!!
