I came across this link by way of TimeLines (thanks Gray ).

It's a beginner tutorial for figure painting using Vallejo. It is in Spanish, but even so it appears easy to follow for non-Spanish speakers...

Hi Al,

The English SBS is different to the Spanish one.

The English SBS can be found here: http://www.ttfxmedia.com/vallejo/cgi-bin/_modelis.asp?p1=ing&p2=modelcolortecnicas

Rudi,

The beginner tutorial was only available in Spanish. The English article on the Vallejo site was written by Mario Fuentes. With the gracious permission of Vallejo, I translated the Beginner Tutorial to English and it should be up on Timelines in a few days. When it is, I'll let you know.

Regards,
Lou

I keep looking at the works of art around here, and in magazines like Military Modelling, with the feeling that I'll never reach such standards!

Then I think, Not True, time, patience and practice, with help from articles such as the ones posted here, and I reckon I could start bringing out some passable figures.

Vallejo site now bookmarked, and I have some Vallejo acrylics on my workbench.
