Here is my completed figure with all his warpaint on. I really enjoyed this one - I even have my wife angry at me that I am giving this one away. (She hardly takes an interest then the very one you give away is the one she likes)

Here is a detail of his axe

Here is a closeup of his face

Hello Ian,

wow this is a real beauty !!! So I really understand that your wife is angry about the fact, that you gave it away.

The best wishes my friend,
Markus

P.S. I have to sculpt a dwarf sometimes in the next months. I will be very happy, if it will become as half as good as your one !!!

Thank you so much Markus from you I am very very touched by your comment - I know you will do a wonderful piece when you do a dwarf, if you need any help please pm me and we can can exchange emails and I can be more technical than on the site ( cause if it is a commision I would love to help you make it great (as I know it will be) I just love Dwarves and have quite a bit of art and info about them..

Thanks for your comment Alguhan much appreciated

Steve I try, I try Unfortunately the colour on the photos make him too too Orange - He is more in the Darker Red range and I took the photo of his face from the wrong angle -I wish I was a better Photograher, I just don't ever capture the fineness of my work.

I love the shade and posture. Very pleasing to look at. All around great sculpt. I won't comment on color because I think the photos are off.

I wouldn't be angry like your wife just sad to see him find a new home. Did you get visitation rights

Yes Scott The colour is off - used a the wrong ligt -should have been a 'blue' light to give better colour separation and mor 'natural effect - I am still learning this part of my hobby.
Yes I hope he is going to a good home and new owner does not know yet that he is finished an I hope to suprise him.
