Toy trains or a model railroad?
Prototype or freelance?
Less-is-more or super detailed?
Era-specific?
Modelers whom you emulate?
Shiny, happy finish, or weathered?
"Just runnin' trains" or operation-oriented?
What is your interest in the hobby and what kind of model layout do you have (or are planning?) Would we like to create a gallery and post your trackplan and photos?
I will post information on my lil' railroad world soon as time permits. I look forward to hearing from you.
JPTRR = Jackson Purchase & Texas Rail Road, my modeling masterpiece.
JPTRR c. 1900 (the line into New Mexico extends through Arizona, to Imperial, CA, thence Oceanside, CA to San Diego and Los Angeles. This is a more precise depiction of the route, with only a few sections no able to be traced by map makers:

JPTRR c. 1940
JPTRR c. 1960
It began 30+ years ago as my freelance model RR. It has grown from a no-nothing flight of fancy into a highly detailed archived model empire.
