Hi all,

Haven't got much further with any painting lately. Too many other things getting in the way

I've bought a few more figures though to make up for it

Here's one of them. He's called "My Treasure" from Fontegris Miniaturas.

Fontegris Miniaturas were great to deal with. Very helpful, quick ressponces to e-mails and a very nice attitude. Figures are well priced and fast delivery .

All the best

Hey Vic,

Great to see you (almost) painting again :-)

I'm glad to see some Fontegris figures being painted. I must say though, I'm looking forward to seeing your version... the box-art version wasn't, IMO, pale enough to be Gollum...

Hi Rudi,

Yes mine will be a fair bit more pale. Living underground is not good for your complexion :-)

I hope to get a chance to start him this week

I like some of the other Fontegris figures, I think they've got their own unique style.

Take it steady

Hi Alguhan,

Hopefully by the end of the week I should be able to find some time to get painting again.

I'm looking forward to doing this one and to finish all the ones I'm part way through :-)

All the best

Hi all.

Just a quick update. Not sure if he's looking any good or if this is the route I'll stick to. I had a bit of a play last night with this one.
I'm thinking of going along the lines that he's slowly turning to mossy stone with more green and flesh areas on him changing more as it moves down his body if you get what I mean.

All the best

Vic

The paint scheme you have planed, sounds very interesting Vic. Very much looking forward to more progress shots.

Looks like you have quite a lot of figures on your workbench. Did you finish the samurai bust?

Hi Steve, Jesper.

Thanks for the comments.
I can see it in my minds eye and it looks great, It's just getting to look like it in real life's the problem

Jesper, if I hadn't cropped the photo you'd see all the others

I'm a nightmare, while I'm painting one I get interested in another and start that also and so on and on and on.
They'll get finished in the end, I just keep juming about from one to another.
Patients has never been one of my virtues.
As for the Samurai, he comes into this category as well. I keep doing bits here and there. I'll have to get on with him soon.

All the best
