by: Engin Kayral [ GRAYWOLF ]

It seems Vladimir thought his Vietnam War figures got tired of fighting and he decided to give them a break and take them away from the battlefield. One of his latest sculpts depicts a US GI trying to make a deal for a few happy hours on his day off in Saigon streets.
B6-35042 Me So Horny - GI & Boom Boom Girl includes two figures; a US soldier and an Asian hooker. The kit reminds me a scene from the movie - Full Metal Jacket.

The figures come well packed in standard light brown cardboard box of the company in 50x80x25 mm dimensions. The front part of the box shows a photo of the assembled and painted figures which can serve as a basic painting guide.
The parts are represented with the casting blocks. The two bodies and arms of GI are seperately inserted into small plastic zip-lock bags to avoid unexpected damages during transfer or storage.

The figures are sculpted by Russian master sculptor and owner of BRAVO-6 Vladimir Demchenko and come in medium grey resin parts. The casting quality is very good and details are very crisp. No air bubbles, excess resin or any casting mistakes on the review sample. The junctions between figure parts and casting blocks are well placed and the parts can be easily removed from the blocks with no damage. As in all other BRAVO-6 figures, there will be no need or a very small need for a cleanwork.

Asian hooker figure comes in one piece. She shows an inviting pose with one hand on her hip and the other on her hair. Casting is really excellent for a single piece figure. Facial details, hair and wide hairband are well represented. She wears a short strappy blouse making her tummy visible, a mini skirt and open sandals with high heels . She has a wide leather belt with a round buckle. Bracelet on the right wrist is a nice touch. Body posture and female body properties are very well defined. Muscles, knees, ankles and toes are well defined.
Her bag is cast on her left hip and note that you should scratch a strap for the bag using plastic or metal foil.

US soldier figure comes in 4 pieces. Arms and hat are given as seperate parts.
Facial details, hair and smiling mouth are well defined. He wears 3rd pattern tropical jungle jacket with concealed buttons on angled pockets and jacket closure and 3rd pattern trousers with concealed buttons and no leg ties or loops. Cloth folds and pocket details are well defined. As for the footgear; he has leather- canvas combined jungle boots.
  • Left arm : Posed to carry a small radio tuner, it shows nice cloth folds.
  • Right arm : Posed to show a gesture to the girl that he is ready and eager for sex.
  • Boonie hat
  • A water-slide decal sheet with different types of name tags, ranks and insignia is given inside the kit.

Different subject, great sculpt and high quality casting. A nice kit to build a different perspective of Vietnam War.

    Very Highly Recommended
Highs: Different and interesting subject, nice sculpt and high quality cast. Very nice anatomic details on the girl.
Lows: No lows for this product.
Verdict: Interesting kit to build a different Vietnam War scene.
